  • Pelvic Ultrasound: A full bladder is required. Please drink about 4 glasses (1L) of water approximately one hour before your appointment and do not empty your bladder before the scan

Sonohysterogram Services

A sonohysterogram (saline infusion ultrasound) provides a clear view of the uterus and uterine lining. A small amount of sterile saline is introduced into the uterus to help detect abnormalities such as fibroids, polyps, or scarring. This safe, minimally invasive test helps identify causes of irregular bleeding or fertility issues.

Preparation:

Please schedule your appointment after your menstrual period but before ovulation. A partially full bladder is recommended.

Renal/Bladder Ultrasound

A renal and bladder ultrasound is a non-invasive test that uses sound waves to assess the kidneys, bladder, and urinary tract. It helps detect conditions such as kidney stones, cysts, blockages, or urinary retention. This safe and painless exam provides valuable information for diagnosing and monitoring urinary system health.

Preparation
Drink 3–4 glasses of water one hour before your appointment and avoid urinating until after your exam. A full bladder allows for clearer images of the bladder and surrounding organs. No additional preparation is needed.
